Brewing up Excitement at the 52nd Annual Kona Coffee Festival

Wednesday, November 1st:

• 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Coffee Farm Tours, allowing visitors to explore lush, coffee-covered hillsides, learn about the coffee-growing process, and even pick coffee cherries.
• 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Coffee Tasting Competitions kicked off, featuring local coffee producers’ finest beans for expert judging.

Thursday, November 2nd:

• All Day: Art Exhibits continued, showcasing local artists’ work inspired by Kona’s coffee culture, with select pieces available for purchase.
• 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM: Food and Beverage Booths offered a wide array of coffee-infused delicacies and local Hawaiian cuisine.

Friday, November 3rd:

• All Day: Cultural Demonstrations took place throughout the event, with hula performances, live music, and traditional Hawaiian ceremonies intertwined.
• 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Coffee Workshops and Seminars covered various aspects of coffee, from brewing techniques to the history of Kona coffee.

Saturday, November 4th:

• All Day: Coffee Art and Craft Fair allowed festival-goers to explore a wide range of creative, handmade items inspired by Kona coffee culture.
• 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Kona Coffee Farmers’ Market featured local coffee farmers and artisans offering freshly roasted coffee beans, coffee-related products, and fresh produce.
• 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Coffee-Themed Music and Entertainment entertained the crowd with live music, coffee-themed compositions, and cultural performances.

• 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Kona Coffee Barista Training get professional training from local Baristas from the island!
• 6:00 PM: Kona Coffee Gamble: 60 YEARS is a film about the hardships of the pioneer family’s in the 1920s.

Thursday, November 9th:

• All Day: A Kona Coffee Art Gallery featured local artists’ coffee-inspired artwork for viewing and purchase.

Friday, November 10th:

• 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Konas Got Talent Showcase is a time to experience performances by the local community’s located at the Kona Hongwanji Social Hall.

Sunday, November 11th:

• 6:00 AM: Kona Coffee festival half marathon 7th annual 100% Pure Kona Coffee Half Marathon. Where you will be running the scenic route of Ali’i Drive to the infamous “Pit” at the “End of the World”. Register Here!
• 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM: The festival culminated in a spectacular Grand Finale with a dazzling fireworks display over the coffee-covered hills of Kona.
